Why dont all these so called,'I want a big payday', fighter

stop complaining about not getting the big payday fight and establish their own big payday. They keep chasing guys like Mayweather and Pacquio but they're not doing anything in their division. For instance, Marquez won't have to look to far for a big payday if he really think he's that good. Just move up to 140 and beat Bradley or Khan. Move up to t 147 after that and beat Berto. He would be looking at a 10mills fight with Cotto or someone. In berto case, all he has to do is fight Cotto for his 154 belt. Beat Cotto and move up to fight for Martinez 160 belt at 160 or a catchweight of 158. He would be making 10mills in his next fight if he beat Martnez LOL.

It isnt just about how good you are, Its about how much they can rake in, All boxers want money...Not a single one of them fight for the fans..

I see your point, but boxing talent and accomplishment doesn't always equate to big pay days. JMM has taken on plenty of challenges in his career and deserves to be payed as much as any one at the moment IMO. That's not the way it works though. There'll always be one or two top dogs that the below ranked will be gunning for.

Yea but you have to earn it. How much do you think Pac was making as he was moving up LOL. Pac had to take the risky fight over and over to get where he is today. Fighter like Marquez and Martinez are in good position right now. All Marquez has to do is beat a legit 140 and move up to beat a 147. For Martinez, he just hast to unite the 160 belt and move up to beat a 168 than his next fight would make him good money.

If Marquez beat Bradley at 140 like he beats Katsidis, he will be making good money with a fight at 147 with Mosley/Berto/or Cotto...trust me. If he beats one of those guy, he will be making 15 plus mills vs Pac.

Exactly. It doesn't have to center around the biggest names
in boxing. Work their way up to the top and fans will eventually
notice. It's going to be a long queue if everyone lines up for
two fighters who probably have few fights left before they
            retire.
