  • Comments Thread For: Dawson's Trainer on Mayweather, Khan-Maidana, Mosley

On a random stop by the H.I.T. Factory Gym right off of the strip of Las Vegas, trainer Eddie Mustafa Muhammad could be found at work, on this particular day overseeing the duties of budding amateur Taylor Larson. A former light heavyweight champion in his own right, Muhammad is one of the most sought after and respected trainers in the city as he works with such talent as former light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson, junior middleweight contender Ishe Smith, and former champion Hasim Rahman and his standout amateur son of the same name, amongst others.

Anybody could look good against Santa Cruz. We will find out if Amir really has a glass jaw or was just hit in the sweet spot by Prescott in this Maidaina fight

Interesting that he doesn't see Mosley vs Pacman as a mis-match that so many fans think it will be. I'm looking forward to see Chad back in the ring...I think he'll learn from this loss and come back better than ever. Zab should really drop his dad and get with a new better trainer. I agree with his comments about Khan's chin. Yes he has been down a couple of time and been KO'd once...he'll never have a David Tua type of chin but only time will tell if his chin is as bad as so many people seem to think.

I see Khan beating Maidana easily.
