Paul Williams, on a winning streak at the time, have begged. No go.

Mosley begged for his life for Pacquiao to fight him after he KO'd Margarito to no avail.
He got told he was simply too good.
Then he lost, and looked mediocre twice. Now he will get his shot (despite begging).

Margarito begged, and got his prayers answered. Maybe JMM can learn a thing or two from his and Shanes approach?
