Both guys are the biggest sellers in the sport. I'm sure years from now ESPN will highlight their finances instead of highlights of their fights.

Chicks bicker about other guys' money, especially ones they've never met.

What do you project that Pacquiao-Mosley will sell?
If FAILING meant garnering more than 50 Million Dollars within the last two fights, hey sign me up for some MAJOR FAILURE!

Floyd's infamy, notoriety, and controversy sells tickets. Plain and simple. Much like sh#t attracts flies. Many people sign up just to see him lose.

                  That's the difference.

Pac's PPV numbers comprise mostly of fans who want to see him fight.

Pac's on the cover of Time Magazine, Readers' Digest, featured on 60 minutes, appears on Jimmy Kimmel and George Lopez, and is admired by Hollywood and other sports celebrities. He has endorsement deals with Nike, Mcdonald's and a handful of other premier brands here and in his native Philippines.

Whereas Floyd will be lucky to stay out of jail. And if he does, I doubt he'll have the balls to face Pac in the ring !

                  This is simply the truth.

PPV numbers alone don't show how good or bad Boxing is doing being we only have 2 big fights a year. HBO made literally millions off their PPVs and HBO fights last year, yet their budget for Boxing was cut for 2010 in comparison to 2009's budget.

I believe as long as Boxing overall is getting coverage across the board (Mainstream and Hardcore Boxing circuits), it'll be fine. Plus, you have to account for the actual stars the sport produces in relation to what and how many PPVs they'll be able to produce. As of right now, maybe only 3-4 are big attractions as far as what they bring at the gate and PPV, meaning Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Cotto in a distant 3rd (Klitschkos over seas, but they're not on PPV).

might do less than the margartio fight imho. mosley needs a good win before this fight happens to make it bigger. it wouldn't hurt if he grabbed a belt.
