    lol...ward hasn't been exactly a ko artist...couldn't even drop
bika...crotch or aa couldn't get him outta there either, for a fighter that is supposed to be so weak...

i'm quite sure dirrell is taking this time to do what he gotta do...in the meanwhile, tell your boy sob (son of bernard) to drop the personal hometown refs and officials off his payroll...

Maybe. Doesn't change the fact that Dirrell needs a heart transplant.

I don't think it's "heart" or any other intangible like that; however, if you want to go there, I believe displayed heart when he outclassed (one of the favorites, then) A. Abraham. AA was a feared fighter that was KOing people left and right, people were hyping him up and there was a sense of greatness in, blah blah blah... If anything it took more courage to fight AA then his prior fight with Froch. I've been reading your posts, but can't find anything substantial that suggests that Ward is better than Dirrell.

Now you CAN say that Dirrell is more emotional than Ward, and that he can get flustered when the fight gets dirty. It did show in the Froch fight, and much like Froch and his dirty tactics, Ward could fluster Dirrell. That being said I think Dirrell isn't given the credit he deserves with adapting. He clearly did so against AA after the Froch fight. In conclusion, heart is not the issue, it's how he will handle Ward's dirty tactics (I won't say style as many people suggest, because Ward is a boxer [that's his style]). Style vs Style, I have the evasive, quicker, Dirrell beating a charging, counter punching, mauling Ward.

Not touchy at all. So weird how you think this is some "I'm a Ward fan, I don't like Dirrell" sorta thing. I stand by what I said. Dirrell has the skill, not the will, to beat him. Period.

No, I wouldn't say Dirrell gets flustered. Fatigue makes cowards of us all. That's what you saw against Froch. Furthermore, I see confidence issues. He doesn't know how to finish a fight. That could come with maturity (Pernell Whitaker had this problem as well) but Whitaker was one gutty warrior.--and had that solved by his 15th pro fight. I don't know if Dirrell has that in him. Even against Abraham, he looked to be wilting. Skill-wise, there are few fighters that can match Dirrell. But boxing is as much mental as it is physical.
