he did refuse, I dont know what the exact reason was but he did have a bum shoulder so that could be it.
I think its safe to say it wasnt out of fear or any of that though

I could have sworn it was Chavez that he refused to fight in december because of the shoulder.

yea i dont remember the exact details but i do remember Berto calling Cotto out on Twitter and all that. Then cotto basically saying no thanks but I dont remember the reasoning.

If Cotto can weather the early storm, I think he can take Berto out late when Berto's stamina starts to decline. Berto doesn't put on alot of mental pressure which really bothers Cotto.

I like Berto by KO early or Cotto by UD @ 147.
