I'd rather Pac fight Marquez than Mosley. But if the general public is dying to see Pacquiao-Mayweather, I guess a KO win over Mosley is more impressive than a KO win over Marquez. Those casual fans would be reminded that Pacquiao accomplished what Mayweather couldn't...which are KO wins over common opponents!!

Mayweather-Marquez fight was heavily promoted. Infact it had two rounds of promotion, due to Floyd's staged injury. I think GBP ended up losing money because the promotion was so costly for this fight.

Arum understandably would prefer not risk the amount of money it would take to ensure this fight does well in the PPV, when Mosley is almost a sure bet to do well as he is known among casual fans.

Hence their offer to GBP that they can have the fight if they agree to do the promoting. Notice Oscar instead of accepting this proposal said GBP would take no part in the promotion. They don't want to risk wasting money on it either!

Oscar and GBP either need to put their money where their mouth has been the past few weeks, or STFU and leave Pac be to take more lucrative fights.

I know why Manny's fans want to keep on waiting longer for this fight to take place. I mean by November we are already going to be looking at Marquez being 38. I guess Manny's fans want either for Marquez to grow old or loose his next fight so he will be really out of the picture. As long as Marquez keeps on winning with good quality opponents his name won't stop being mentioned.......

mosley is being chosen because he is the easiest fight, arum knows what he is doing, pacman vs anybody is gona sell. the casual fan doesnt pay 60 bucks for ppv,, so all that the casual fan knows mosley is bs.. arum is milkin manny because he cant get the payday of his career with a fight against floyd.. so rather than put manny in harms way and possibly f up a chance to fight floyd in the future.. he is gona put manny against fighters he knows manny can beat and keep his stock rising..
