    Russian reporter Alexander Pavlov was informed that a lawsuit was filed on behalf of Oleg Maskaev against the World Boxing Council [WBC]. Maskaev is making a claim that the WBC promised him a world title shot against Vitali Klitschko and never delivered. Maskaev claims to have been nursing a hand injury when the WBC forced him to defend his title against Sam Peter in March 2008. Peter knocked him out in six rounds. The winner was going to fight Klitschko.

      They did fu(k old Oleg but then he fu(ked himself right back by taking the Nagy Agulera fight and getting ko'd in 1! He still might have a claim though...

              He does need to hang it up but he was screwed out of his biggest and final payday. Too bad he has to sue his way there...

                          Put him in with Holyfield, why aren't any top Heavyweights or well known ones at least fighting each other, everybody wants the Klits, then to retire.

                              Here's what's awesome... it's ****** that the WBC gave Maskaev so many chances, and then they didn't deliver one of the million, so he is going to sue them... hopefully into bankruptcy.

                                  I thought the same thing. A Rocchigianni-like settlement puts the WBC out of business.
