IMO Odlanier Solis will KO Ray Austin within 6 and greatly trouble Klitschko

He is my favourite boxer. Ray Austin got beat by Vitali 3 years ago in the 2nd round and has knocked out 4 lowly opponents since then. Odlanier will KO him in less than 6.

When Odlanier fights Klitschko, it will be an eternity from a 12 round jabfest which Vladimir takes by wide UD. I personally think Odlanier can beat him, if not a very late KO. (11, 12th round)

Odlanier would have to be at the pinnacle of his boxing game to win the championship though. He has the spark though.

I don't Vitali will crush him TBH. Odlanier beat David Haye back in 2001 and he wrapped up a solid record. This is not going to be an easy payday IMO.

That was almost a decade ago, and he's completely out of shape now (270lbs). Solis hasnt taken his career seriously enough. Have you seen his last fight? Walking around flat-footed and throwing slow punches.... I'm sorry bro I just don't see it.

As soon as he gets himself into reasonable shape I see him posing big problems for either Klitschko. That's if he gets off his ass and gets into shape though.

Austin will be over 40 by the time he fights Solis . This is not even a prime Austin so Solis is going to win even if by a mere decision which may need the help of the judges . Solis is going to remain undefeated on paper , remember McCline vs. Peter.

But I didn't chime in just to agree. Here's my two cents:

Sixteen pro fights against inferior opposition doesn't cut it when you've spent your whole life in the amateurs. And you want to fight a guy with an 88% KO percentage?

Odlanier is small for a modern heavyweight. His natural fighting weight is probably closer to 210 pounds. He's been coming in at around 270 for his last few bouts. That's way too fat. But even if he came in at, say, 230 he'd probably still be too small. This, above all else, is what I see as his major problem. Then there's the questionable work ethic....

Solis has a lot of talent, but he's a long way off from being ready for either Klitschko brother. He and his handlers are looking for a quick payday. If Odlanier gets his day with Vitali in March, the most I'm hoping for is that he goes the distance without embarrassing himself. I hope it's not too much to ask.

You guys forget that Ray Austin is a big heavyweight at 6'6" and his only loss in the last 4 years was to Wladdy! He has much more experience and I bet he wins by decision if he is in any kind of shape. Check out his record, not too bad for a bum!
