Jones vs. Toney really showed us that we had a once in a lifetime star in the making.

Griffin II was also very satisfying to watch as a Jones a fan. Seeing him avenge his only "lost" at the time by brutal 1st round KO is more than a fan can ask for.

the Montell Griffin rematch

just because of how the first fight ended

it was good to see the 'RJ' persona come out and shut any doubts that may have arose in that 'loss' to Griffin....Roy wasn't effin around in that bout...i wish he would have shown that same fire in more fights

Griffin 2 showed what he was capable of when he wanted to make an example, Virgil hill body shot and vinny Paz, still the only fight I think where in one round not 1 punch was landed

Loved watching him massacre Vinny Paz, as Vinnie's in ring antics always made me dislike him. Ref tried stopping a fight, and Vinny knocked the ref down and hit a defenseless man who was dazed with some hard shots. He has no class, and Roy made him look like an absolute fool. He tried to showboat and mock Roy and Roy made him pay dearly. Vinny Paz was a bloody mess and was totally outmatched.

Roy has many many great fights, all of which he looked extremely impressive.

The first Tarver fight. Just a very, very smart fight by Jones. Got his ass whipped but did what he had to do to win the decision. Used experience and guile on a night when he wasn't the better fighter at all.
