I dunno if you're defending Haye here or being sarcastic or whatever. But Haye chose to fight Audley so the blame is solely on him.

Why is it Hayes fault? Haye didn't put a gun to his head to make the fight. Audrey wanted this more than Haye, this was said before the fight.

Haye said he didn't really want the fight to prove anything, it was just a money fight that the British public were interested in.

Audrey was the guy who had something to prove, so he got his chance.

Have u seen Audley fight before? Hes a counter puncher who is very inactive. But suddenly he should become Paul Williams because hes getting a shot at a title...lol

personally i would prefer him to hang up his gloves. he is definately not made for professional boxing. after the BBC got their fingers burnt by Audley he hurt other professional fighters indirectly and with his mouth running more then his heart can deliver i think he has brought shame to himself the way he has conducted himself since turning pro. i dont think there is anything left for Audley other then to carry on as a journeyman and being an opponent.
he does draw a crowd and does garner press interest, but that is all because of what he did 10 years ago. he can keep dipping into the well as he cant do much more damage then he has already done, but bowing out now would be the more graceful thing to do as he doesnt have the heart in the fight, so what he is trying to prove is beyond me. he is an accident waiting to happen.
