    Icon?

I don't know why ATG and even legend as he's considered today by boxing fans isn't good enough. It's probably part of the reason why'hes done what he has and gotten to the point he has. To be an icon he'd have to do more than win against Pascal. I'm talking about winning against David Haye or Klitschko for him to get to that point.

Icons are Louis, Marciano, Ali, Tyson, and Leonard (there have been more, but not sure if in the US, would be here too long ringing off name after name) it's very hard to get to that point. I'm not sure if Roy Jones is, but I don't see it. Mayweather has to beat Pacquiao and try to stop being a ****head.

Hopkins is whats right about boxing, as far as the mentality of a fighter goes.

Hes always striving to be greater and takes on tough assignments.. Yeah, hes had some of stinkers, but hes been the underdog so many times and won.. he frustrates but he also proves people to be spectacularly wrong.

This time, I think its too difficult of a task for him, but hes a great example of how boxers should live their lives and how they should behave out of the ring.
