I always thought Morales was the best of the bunch.

Morales was d@mn near untouchable at 122 and possible 126.

I wish they would have fought because it would have been epic.

        No, he wouldn't. Exactly.

Marquez's star only began to rise after the first Pacquiao fight, and that will be the name that signifies his legacy no matter what he does. He drew and lost to Manny Pacquiao. Before Pacquiao, he was unknown, and between the two fights, he didn't do ****. He technically outclassed some brawlers, and has given Pacquiao hell. Nothing special.

Morales beat him, well after his prime. Marquez has still yet to do this, despite his perceived 'superiority'.

You people are delusional and out of your goddamned minds. JMM dominated Barrera and beat him at his own game.

            He beat Pacquiao 2x.

            That's special.

There is one thing that Morales is able to do better than Marquez. Morales beat Pacquiao clearly. Because judges has it 7 rounds to 5, it was a closed fight but with a clear winner.

The JMM-Pac fight is a closed fight that could have gone either way.

That's a gross overstatement. Who did he fight?

He lost his first professional fight, for Christ's sake. And I'm pretty sure it was at 126.

Marquez won more rounds than Morales. Morales only feat in that first fight was managing to stay on his feet.

Outside of the rounds that Pac dropped JMM which are 2. JMM won the majority of the rest of the 24 rounds.

Its not just me saying it, its the boxing cognoscenti.
