so what if Pac-JMM 3 is at 147?

hell, even if they fight at 160 for a vacant title it won't matter because they're both BLOWN UP FEATHERWEIGHTS!!

i don't understand these *****s saying that Pacquiao should be criticised for making JMM fight at 147 because Floyd did the same

well Floyd is a natural welterweight, who can weigh as much as 155 cherrypicked a BLOWN UP featherweight in JMM to fight him in OWN weight class

so how can you say that Pac is cherrypicking by making JMM climb up to his division whereas Pac himself does not even belong to his current division?

IT MEANS NOTHING just like Floyd's fight against Marquez.

Exactly, they are about the same size anyway, if the fight is made at 135, they will both weigh 145 on fight night and both will suffer the effects of having to make weight. If the fight is made at 147 they will both weigh 147 on fight night. Pretty soon more fighters are going to realize what Paq, Ariza, and Roach have already realized, there are benefits to giving up size and fighting at your natural weight without trying to make weight.

you gotta look at the facts. pac weighs 148 lbs on fight night and jmm weights 145-7 lbs on fight night. they are practically the same size.

wifebeater jr on the other hand is around 160 lbs on fight night.

having said all that, I still don't think jmm is any good above 135 lbs until he proves otherwise.

pac is scared he cant win against marquez at 140... that said styles make fights and dont be surprised when manny wins another hotly contested split decision. remember that if your a logical minded person styles make fights. think about that before hatred fills your post.

Well, I do agree it doesn't matter what weight they fight at, as they're naturally about the same size. Although it would be a hell of a thing if Pacquiao fought Marquez for his linear lightweight title at this point. I think he actually could get down to that with little trouble.

Pac was almost flat footed during their 2nd fight & didn't move much

he was fighting JMM's fight & was beaten to the punch

Pac now has better lateral movements & will impose on JMM
