OK, it makes no sense arguing. Manny wants to fight Mosley. Manny has picked Shane. So we might as well discuss the mechanics of the fight.

I assume the fight will be in May. At that point, Shane would be coming in after a nine-month lag. Not a very long time, but at 40 years old for a guy who relies on speed, maybe not the best idea.

Should he take a tuneup? Should he get into the gym extra early and just build up slowly to get sharp?

What does a 40 year old welterweight need to do to get ready for the p4p champ?

Ideally, a tune-up (against a cherry picked opponent, Jay Litzau anyone?!)would be a good thing for Shane, but in reality$$$ theres too much risk. If he loses or gets injured this jeopardizes the marketability of a PAC fight.

Hate to say it but if the fight is signed off a tune-up would probably make Shane look even more unmarketable if the Mora match was anything to go off.

Mosley doesn't have that much left,he better not take a tune-up,he might leave whatever he has left there!!Do like Rocky, put some hurt behind them punches & swing for the fences,Pacman can be hit & Mosley has power!!

I've been reading some of his twitter crap (makes me sick seeing how giggly he is over this), but he says there won't be a tuneup for this fight.
