I'm not debating that you need to just look at the top, but the sample size needs to be increased to get a really accurate picture. Say, top 100 or top 150. There's a formula to figure it out, but frankly, I forgot it. You're such a ****ing genius, you should know it. With a pool of 50, you can't get an accurate representation of 12 separate categories, no matter how many times you call me a ******.

 the pool is not 50.

the sample size is actually the entire history of boxing. the 50 is a result of funnelling from millions.Comment

I'm sorry, are you arbitrarily setting a limit on the amount of fighters you'll test? Then it's a sample size because it's not the population of fighters. I think the question is do YOU know anything about statistics? Because so far, you've demonstrated absolutely knowledge of statistical analysis.Comment

50 top boxers of all time just so happens to be the ATG list. i didn't set the #.I'm sorry, are you arbitrarily setting a limit on the amount of fighters you'll test? however that is enough information to draw an inclination. nobody said it was absolute.

once again it's like listing the 50 greatest runningbacks of all time. it is enough of a talent pool to draw inclinations from. but if 2-3 of the rbs are white then we are all equal! - idiot

and yes i have demonstrated absolute knowledge of statistical analysis while you are being a stubborn child.Comment

Well, no, not really. You did set the number for ATG. I've heard it at 50, 100, 200, 75, really all over the place. And no, it's not like sampling race. Not at all. For the most part, there are two possibilities for race in the NFL. I haven't seen many players who aren't either black or white. So that's a 50/50 split if it's evenly divided. If there are only 3 white running backs (two words) on that list, that's 94/6 percent split. That's easily a big enough sample to say that there's a statistically meaningful difference between the categories. However, when you have 12 categories, it's 8.3% per category. You're going to have anomalies. Even if they happen to match up with your initial hypothesis, it's still not proof. The margin of error is massive. Do I have to explain what margin of error and standard deviation are?50 top boxers of all time just so happens to be the ATG list. i didn't set the #.

a great explanation of astrology actually affecting us is the scientific fact that the ocean tides are gravitationally moved and orchestrated by the celestial bodies. the moon most significantly. however the moon is affected by it's surrounding constellations. a chain reaction of energies if you will.

you can read on up this fact if you like.
