The most important aspects in a natal chart to break down a fighter are the following 3 aspects.



Sun sign: this determines who you are inside. Your will, heart and combustible energy inside. I made a thread about all the hardest punchers in boxing and they are either cancer or virgo because of this reason. Inner combustible energy. This alone does not make them great fighters. All great fighters need to be strong in all 3 aspects ideally. If any of the 3 has a detriment then you will see serious flaws in the fighter at the highest level of boxing/fighting. That is why you rarely see top fighters with Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio and Pisces in their sun.


sign in Mars: This is the planet of war. it determines your stamina your method of destruction and your breakdown of your opponent. If your mars is in libra like Chad Dawson and Jean Pascal, your energy is going to be fluctuated early and fade late. Hopkins walked Pascal down. If your mars is in capricorn like Manny Pacquiao, you are going to have consistent relentless energy the entire fight.


Ascending sign: I would argue that this is the single most important aspect in fighting. ascending sign is who you project onto others. it is the sign that most people would guess you as. it has to do with your physical build, your muscular definition and physical speed, power and flexibility. It has to do with what you dish out and how you assert yourself in a fight. I believe the half man half horse, saggitarian is the best ascending sign to have as an athlete period. most professional athletes have this aspect actually.






Once again, i believe astrology matters at the highest level only when skills and genetics become too close to call.

Floyd has one of the most ridiculous Mars I ever seen.

The shape of that nig*a's Mars is intense.

Mars in an air sign is actually not ideal for combat. it produces a thinking fighter. Floyd somehow made it work because he does have low output.


Floyd is a fighter whose skills are 2 levels above his competition for his true nature to be tested. but when push comes to shove the warrior saggitarian sun, powerful cancer moon strapped down by relentless capricorn in mars, would wear him down.


Floyd has the skills but Manny has the intangibles.

Floyd has a detriment in pisces sun. he will wilt if pressured hard enough.

yeah keep observing the trends. i believe what i see i don't get caught up by naysayers.


I was actually sitting down with my buddy recently and watching bernard and pascal. also pirog and jacobs. i called both of those fights.

I saw that jacobs is one of the weakest sign in aquarius and pirog has one of the strongest sign in cancer and their resumes are pretty even. i took pirog by KO without even knowing who Pirog was lol.


Also i took bernard by decision if he survives the scorpion sting in the first couple of rounds. bernard did get stung..... and he began walking pascal down. i saw the libra in mars for pascal and knew his stamina would be an issue late in the fight.

but what people cant seem to grasp are the intangibles. especially at the highest level of combat sports. you can look at a guy like Vlad and Vitali and conclude Vlad is the more technically sound fighter...... but Vitatli has that X factor. Vitali is a real natural fighter who adapts and he may not seem like it but he is also more defensive as well.


that is the situation with Floyd and Manny. Manny while not as technically sound has probably the most incredible natal chart for fighting. He is a saggitarian sun with Cancer moon and Capricorn mars. That is the most powerful fire sign combined with the most powerful water sign and the most powerful earth sign.

If you look through all time great list of the 50 greatest, you'll see that Capricorns, Cancer and Saggitarians are completely over-represented.


Manny will fight anybody and he will never wilt. His chart shows 0 weakness in terms of spirit and mentality.

Widely regarded as the weakest sign in the zodiac. when someone is born under pisces they are extremely sensitive and defensive a a result. they also fear. A lot of male pisceans tend to overcompensate as well with large than life projections. Floyd is a good example. You will find that in the ATG list, there are very few pisceans. I would be surprised if you can find more than 2.

i tried this before but team sports take on a completely different dynamic.


i addressed this in an earlier post. the reason why is that in a team you are rarely performing at 100% at all times. you are not nearly as pressured and pushed to the limit as you would be in a combat sport. team also has to do with cohesion with your teamates. so as a result the likeable, accomdating signs usually are the greatest. They are optimitic and create positive vibes with the team and their teamates will be inclined to pass them the ball. Jordan, Shaq, Magic, Ruth, Gretsky, C Ronaldo are either pisces or aquarians. both of those signs are detriments for fighting.

They are great team players though.

Whoever gave you that **** was misinformed. Pisces IS NOT the DETRIMENT of the Sun. AQUARIUS is. Floyd IS NOT an Aquarius Sun.

I disagree with emmanuel having the perfect chart for boxing. The true greatest Sugar Ray Robinson had a Sagittarius Ascendant, Taurus Sun, and Pisces Moon.

If I was making the chart for an ultimate boxer, I'd give him a FIRE ASCENDANT and EARTH SUN.
