Why Vitali Klitschko Is Today's Top Heavyweight

It's been a year and a half since former heavyweight champ Lennox Lewis stopped current WBC champ Vitali Klitschko, in what may have been the last fight of his career. In his bout with Lewis, Klitschko proved that it was just a matter of time before he would have the title heavyweight champ attached to his name. In fact, he was leading in the fight when it had to be stopped after the sixth round because of his severely cut left eye. At the conclusion of the fight both Lewis and Klitschko were exhausted. Along with being exhausted, the caliber of fighting displayed by both that night was not indicative as to what we've seen from them in past fights. However, both displayed the kind of courage associated with fighters who are called champ at some point in their career. [details]

If he is, it could not be due to the depth of the Heavyweight ranks in terms of talent...

That's very argueable. There are a lot of good young fighters out there that are not being given enough chance to expose their skills, all these because of these MONEY SUCKING PROMOTERS.

he's the best now, and the most exciting. I'd rather love to watch Vitaly's fights than any other heavyweight boxer at this moment.

Fiscaliser, which young good fighters do u mean?

vitali is not a great boxer, but he is good and at this time all all you need to be a title holder. he shows the most talent than anyother title holder.

Well I'm not reffering to any names in particular . . . just wanted to point out that new comers in the division is not being given enough attention to be able to discover new hopefuls who can challenge Vitali.

Well whether people like it or not indeed Vitali seems to be the most dominant figure in the division. I said it's argueable because I want to see Vitali against the other belt holders,
