"Mikey" Garcia is better than Juanma and Gamboa. Too bad he's under Top Rank's banner. Because Smokescreen Bob also knows this and is gonna hold him back by burying him on undercards, shooting him a little money, and keeping him as far away from his two up-n-coming cashcows as possible.

I don't think Miguel Garcia is ready for Juan Lopez or Yuriokis Gamboa. Garcia should try his hand at Daniel Ponce De Leon first.

yeah,i think he should fight someone like ponce de leon, but he is ranked number one with gamboa,so maybe after this fight he'll face gamboa,or he can have one more, but i think 2011 will be the year he faces the champ

Well, he ranked #1 by the IBF and I'm not hearing anything about him getting a shot at Gamboa. And we all know how much Arum likes to keep it in-house. So that tells me he doesn't want to match Gamboa with this kid. My guess is that he keeps Mikey buried on undercards and keeps him away from top 10 featherweights to keep the demand down for him to get a fight with Juanma or Gamboa. And he won't get his push until those guys either lose or move up. And if the public starts asking questions, Smokescreen Bob will move Mikey up 10 130 and let him win a belt there to keep him away from his babies.

Yuriokis Gamboa's next fight will be in early 2011 against the winner of John vs Saucedo.

I think a fight against Daniel Ponce De Leon would a great test for Garcia to see where Garcia is at. Antonio Escalante has failed. Now, it is Garcia's turn to try.
