Comments Thread For: Emanuel Steward: The Public Won't Buy Pacquiao-Mosley

Back when he was a scrawny, teenager in Detroit with big boxing dreams and fascination with hometown heroes named Joe Louis and Sugar Ray Robinson, Emanuel Steward began to have an appreciation for the legend and lore of the sport.

Just like Pacquiao-Margarito was going to flop, right?

I think Pac-Shane is a joke of a fight at this point, but Arum has already proven he can spin **** into PPV gold. He's pushing for Mosley because he knows he can get big numbers and a much larger share of the pie now that GBP is out of the picture.

      It's not $/buys that's the issue, it's the matchup.

The undercard will be the deciding factor for me.

I'm a hardcore fight fan, but I refuse to pay for another Pac fight unless it's against PBF. Arum's got enough of my money already.

As usual, Steward is wrong. The same million or so Pacwh*res that bought Pacquaio-Margarito will buy Pacquaio-Mosley. And after a couple months of promotion, 24/7, and all the Pacwh*res in the media telling us what a huge risk this is for Pac. After Pac KO's Mosley, we'll once again have the Pacwh*re nation telling us how great he is.

And people said Bob Arum is good for boxing when he makes the fights the public don't won't. The public wants Berto or Marquez not a washed up Shane Mosley.
