Pre-Calzaghe Jeff Lacy vs Arthur Abraham: Who Wins?

before he was ass****d by Calzaghe, Jeff Lacy was a solid force in the SMW division...who would win in a fight between him and Arthur Abraham?

    they're both 5'10...Lacy's reach advantage isn't much...both have power

some would say they're both one-dimensional...

so what say you boxingscene? who wins?

    AA.

Never thought much of Lacy. AA seems like a bigger puncher when he actually lands.

In fact, i dont think i ever saw lacy pre Calzaghe, so i pulled that opinion straight out of my arse. FACT!

I think Lacy gets frustrated on the high guard then King Arthur goes to work.

I don't think Lacy had the accuracy or variety to really get around his guard, nor was he active enough to keep him handcuffed.

Lacy would be up 7 rounds to 0 by the time Abraham started his offense

plus a few left hooks to the body, to counter that high guard, will have softened up Arthur

To me Arthur would have to do worse than he did against Froch to lose to Lacy because Lacy is by no means capable of doing what Froch did.

I feel questioning Abraham's abilities but I still think he can avoid Lacy's 1 decent type of punch, since that only requires moving to his right.

Plus keep in mind every time Lacy would go low Abraham would complain about it being a low blow, not to mention King Arthur's thugishness which I am fairly sure would get to Lacy.

I guess it cold be interesting, in the way a race between two turtles to get off their backs is interesting. Which one will make a move first!

I'm not voting for AA in a damn thing from now on. I think that fool forgot how to punch.

Pre Calzaghe Lacey was a green, unproven prospect. Who knows what he could do.
