It's disappointing but we all knew this was coming. I guess the only thing we can look forward to is Manny destroying Mosley in a more emphatic fashion than Floyd.

This is the fight hardly anyone wants to see yet Arum seems convinced this will make him the most money. I don't get it. The public wants excitement, give us Mayweather or Marquez.

I think the fight doesn't make any sense on an economic or financial level:

Economically - Mosley demand is on the decline losing to Floyd and drawing with Mora didn't help with his stock, whereas JMM is platued or climbing as he has consistently won against fair to good opposition since is defeat to Floyd. Conclusively, a 3rd fight with JMM is more feasible than a romp with Mosley.

Financially - The gains from a Pac vs Mosley would not exceed a Pac vs JMM fight. I just can't see that rational. I do not have the time to provide analytics. unfortunately, however, my hypothesis is simply this: the demand for JMM is higher than that of Mosley. I believe JMM can draw more and therefore provide a better return.
