The argument was athleticism vs technical skill, unless you believe Margarito was able to throw his uppercuts because of his advanced technical skill there is no connection.

Mosley was the most credible opponent Floyd could have faced after the Pacquiao fight fell through.


He was no3 ranked p4p fighter and was no1 at 147. So Floyd deservedly gets credit for the win, even if it was an old Mosley. But someone had to beat him, and had Pacquiao decided to fight Mosley when Mosley was willing to come down to 140, that would have one of Pacquiao's biggest wins of recent times.

But had Pacquiao faced Mosley at 147 instead of the proposed 140 and beaten him, this would have been Pacquiao's greatest career win.
