Hey, you guys remember how many rounds Mitch Green "destroyed" Tyson in? When they were clinching, Tyson was getting "destroyed" because his offense was getting nullified. I was thinking, Jesus, how can Tyson take all of this "destruction". It was brutal!

Than being 38 years old coming after not fighting in over a year? I cant say I agree with that. At 32, a year and a half after knocking out previously undefeated Ricky Hatton, Floyd decided he needed to take a tune up fight in Marquez. A year and a half after beating Antonio Margarito, 38 year old Mosley fought P4P #1 Floyd Mayweather. Just to put thing in perspective. I agree Floyds win over Mosley means 10x as much as a Pac win over Mosley now would, but its still not a huge win.

Nah, pretty big win. That 38yr old Mosley was #3 pound for pound and Floyd was #2. Shane had one fight in a year and a few months, Floyd had one fight in three years. End of story.

So we'll pretend that an extended layoff for a 38 year old is the same as for a 32 year old? At the time of the fight Floyd was only coming off an 8 month layoff which seems more relevant than his previous retirement while Shanes current streak of inactivity was twice that. Floyd got a tune up fight before the Mosley bout, Shane didnt. It was a good win and I dont discredit it completely, but as far as epic wins go, it wasnt one.
