Comments Thread For: Robert Guerrero's Options Could Include Linares, Litzau

According to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, former champion Robert Guerrero has plenty of options for his next fight, but it doesn't appear that WBO/WBA lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez is one of them. Marquez has focused his energy on chasing a third fight with Manny Pacquiao and refuses to entertain the possibility of any other opponent, for the moment.

Guerrero has no buissiness in the ring with Marquez and he already koed Litzau. That leaves Linares.

I give the Ghost full marks, I don't know if he beats Juan, but he is a nice mix of skill and aggression. If there is a guy out there that deserves a big payday it's Guerrero. For a 3-time two division champion he sure doesn't get the respect. I say Juan go to 140, Soto/Guerrero for the marbles at 135.

How about Rick Burns vs Jason Litzau?

Or he can fight Roman Martinez.
