Marquez vs Morales this spring

this fight will be easy to sell to the fans, and this is the kind of fight Marquez needs right now, he has faced 2 tough brawlers in a row, he needs a Morales type of opponent

then Marquez vs Soto could be interesting

I believe Guerrero is too much of a risk, and low reward
Miguel Vasquez is not a big enough name and a big enough talent

At this point, I would be much more interested in seeing JMM fight the Lopez-Gamboa winner (whenever they finally fight) than I am in seeing him move up. I'm pretty sure the Lopez-Gamboa winner will be available at the end of next year. In the meantime, another lightweight title defense against Acosta, Soto, or Rios would do me well.

i dnt think marquez can handle pacs speed, but as far as them fighting at 147, why not,, marquez weighed in at 145 fight night against katsidis.. pac aint gonna way more than 148 in my opinion.. let it happen.

Anyone can beat Tony, Cotto and Clottey when u have weight stipulations why doesn't he fight these guys at there natural weight. Also even when PAC fought at lightweight he only beat David Diaz PAC's opponents have been chosen wisely after he got beat by JMM plus Cotto is damaged goods after getting that ass beat by Cheeto and Clottey when was he the greatest boxer to beat! Dude seriously look back at the Cotto fight at the Hatton fight and at the Clottey they don't even show the day of the fight weights for those fights cause they had clauses on their contracts in which they couldn't re-hydrate come on a shot Morales schooled PAC JMM schooled him and Floyd will school him nothing he has done is special weight draining fighters and beating them and how was it to Tony's advantage that dude walks around 190-200 he should be fighting at 154 and yes they knew he was going to blow up to make him slower. Seriously come on, for some one who claims to know about boxing you should know Manny within two years wiped out the welterweight division. Give the man his credit. Hand wraps or no hand wraps he beat I much more comfortable (weight wise) and actually more defense minded Margarito. He easily and clearly beat a fighter who previously was never convincingly beat (that includes the cheating Margarito fight) and he destroyed the biggest name in the welterweight division besides Mayweather, Cotto. And none of these fighters were weight drained. You can't blame Manny for the welterweight division not having anything else to offer.
