If you believe Arum is doing this to get better leverage in negotiations then I don't know what to tell you. Yeah, let's keep having lesser PPV's than Floyd because that'll show him! I doubt that, bro. Especially when the #s for this are less than Mayweather-Mosley.

He is doing it to have some advantage. Why fight all these dudes that Mayweather has fought? It's obviously to establish a comparison between Manny's performances and Mayweather's performances against common opponents. Why he is doing it is a mystery but it has to provide some advantage to do so. I think it has some psychological aspect to it......it would likely lead Floyd to question his own success against Pac given how well he was able to outshine Floyd's own efforts against these guys everytime.
