    Orange, CA - Upon arriving to his hometown of Tijuana, Mexico, previously undefeated Juan Carlos Burgos (25-1, 18 KOs) reflected on his recent defeat in Nagoya, Japan, when he faced legendary Hozumi Hasegawa (29-3, 11 KOs) for the vacant WBC Featherweight title. After 12 brutal non-stop rounds, Burgos lost the fight on all three judges scorecards 117-111 (twice), and 116-111.

    did he just say legendary lol yea right i want to see these japs come fight in the u.s theres money to be made with lopez and gamboa so come and get it

          Not every thing is about you ****** ricans dam get of lopez nutz. He needs to drop back down though i think he will get koed with some one with power and naturally bigger guy.

            Agreed.

            He should fight at 122.

            Perhaps WV2 or Nishioka.

            Both are great fights.

            He may be a bit to much for WV2 right now.

              Any combination between them 3 would be great fights. But i think nishioka comes out on top. They should add in the poon and stage a mini tournament like at banamweight. That would be epic any of those fights would produce fireworks.
