    Following his stellar first-round destruction of Freddy Hernandez, undefeated WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto is a promotional and managerial free agent, according to a source close to the athlete. Boxing talk has been further advised that Berto plans on entertaining offers on both fronts immediately. Berto promoter Lou DiBella was unavailable for immediate comment.

      If this is true, i see Golden Boy signing him. If not, he signs with Top Rank just to get a chance to fight Pac.

          I wouldn't mind seeing him sign with Top Rank just so his 2011 lineup can come true. He wants Cotto and Pacquiao and if he signs with Top Rank he can get them easily.

              If berto's smart he goes to top rank to get the fights he wants. He goes to golden boy or stays with dibella he'll continue to be fighting bums. top rank has all the top WW's.

                  Signing with Top Rank would be his best bet. Golden Boy is a bit thin in the 147-154 division. If he goes with Arum, he's practically guaranteed a fight with Manny, then he can take on Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, maybe even Chavez down the road.

                  Works out for him in terms of opportunities and money and the fans get to see him step up his competition.

                      Dibella has been getting easy fights for ridiculous money.

                      Kinda hard to walk away from that.

                      Of course Manny is involved so I wouldn't be shocked.

                                      He should move to Top Rank if he is smart..Cotto, Foreman,Chavez, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, and most importantly Pac..

                                      GoldenBoy roster at that 147 and 154 is shallow..Unless he wants to move down to LWW to face Ortiz, Khan, Maidana, Marquez.

                                      Or he can stay with DiBella, and demand a fight against Martinez..
