Like I said, AA's trainer is just as much at fault if not more cuz he didn't teach AA how to be a good boxer, and use the variety of skills associated with being a good boxer. If he had, i bet AA would have won that fight.

I blame his trainer for not preparing him appropriately from the time they started working together for losing this fight. 70% trainers fault for not teaching AA how to be a good well-rounded boxer, 30% AA fault for not being smart enough to know better and relying way too much on clamshell defense and one punch ko's.

Again, not to diminish Frochs win. He fought a great fight. But it made him look better cuz AA had no answer, no real boxing skills.

      No it wasn't.

Simply because Clottey never repesented danger to Pacquiao. Pacquiao could attack with relative abandon. Froch couldn't do that, he picked his moments to unload in bursts and took a lot of care not to get tagged, whereas Clottey tagged Pacquiao cleanly with comparative regularity.

abraham is a big puncher but that is all he is. at the top level you need
a jab and be able to slip a jab and counter punch you cant be a one trick pony.

Froch used Klitchko's style to beat AA and it worked...jab jab jab ...

I just think, when a boxer is shirt and uses peekaboo style, it will be hard for him to do anything against jabs...short boxers gotta move a lot and use their both hands...

Look what happened with Karo Murat, he has the same peekaboo style and was successful when he fought short guys (because they dont have long jabs) but when he moved to light heavyweight and faced 6'2 Cleverly, he lost...
Abraham uses a high guard not a peek-a-boo. they aren't the same thing. A Peek-a-boo is an ideal style to use is you're a shorter guy trying to get inside the jab of a taller fighter ala Mike Tyson or Floyd Patterson.

Well I haven't seen it from him yet. I wouldn't call Abraham a Miranda level fighter. He just had an off night. Ward even fought Miranda in close quarters. Thats dangerous business with Abraham. That Miranda fight was the first time I got to watch Ward tho. I hope AA doesn't pull out. This is the fight I wanted 2 see all along.

                Club-fighter, sureeee.

The whole "if he didn't have a punch" screed is a meaningless argument.

Wegner's full of ****. He gave Abraham nothing. Fat **** should get in there and take some punches himself - did he ever set foot in a pro ring?
                It sure does, thanks Cobra

It's too bad for those kind of fighters that it's too late. He is what he is now... one-dimensional. Ricky Hatton is a good example.
