Gomez hooks up with Jin...Shane claims he's a free agent and tries to get a PAC fight...DLH and them lobbying for JMM saying they would back off....Arum hates DLH and would probably give Shane the fight just to piss him off


i hope Arum doesn't allow himself to get too dragged into this mess


the truth is; Shane has looked like crap his last two fights and even though i feel both he and JMM would get slaughtered, i would rather see a 3rd JMM fight with PAC
the storyline is already set...PAC vs a Mexican always sells...
i'd pay for either fight but i would enjoy JMM getting put on his ass a couple time more than watching Shane get pummeled

I wouldn't pay for PAC/Shane. PAC has done enough fighting guys who looked like shi t their last fight. His resume is beginning to resemble you know who's resume.

by causal fans in the states i'd think shane would be the bigger name ...

In Texas or California JMM, though he definitely no Morales or Barrera, would draw a solid amount of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans.

In Vegas I might give Shane a slight edge if we're comparing Shane and JMM fighting no-namers. Against Pac I would say JMM would be the bigger Vegas draw because of their two previous wars.

Also remember, Shane stunk up Vegas against Sergio Mora. People don't always forget that ****. I still say if Shane wants a shot at Pac he should pull off some impressive wins first.

After Marquez's epic fight Saturday night, it's pretty clear to me who should get the shot.

i would say mosley has the ppv edge up to this point. his name is known by even the most casual boxing fan, not that each and everyone of them will watch him though.

but jmm and pac has a history and if they use this storyline good, it would outsell a possible pac-mosley fight i think.
