Pac fans here even said it should be 140... and this same *****s that criticize about Marquez fightting Pac at 147 are the same d*ckhead who are depending Floyd for making Marquez fight at catchweight of 144... and worst than that, only Marquez have catchweight and floyd dont have catchweight! lol

A hypocrite would be somebody who holds a JMW title, and yet would not dare to fight an actual JMW. That would be a hypocrite alright. I wonder who would do something like that?

Or, a hypocrite would be somebody who calls himself P4P, and yet demands that Cotto be at 145 even after he had already fought at 147, and then also demand that the career-featherweight Marquez come up to 147

Manny can make 140 easy, and he would still have a huge advantage over the old age-pensioner Marquez.

The fact that Manny demanded a catch-weight of 145 for Cotto, and yet will not fight Marquez unless the fight is held at 147..... is priceless

when does pacquiao ever say anything?every time he does do interviews they come off as pre scripted and didn't manny go on t.v and say he agreed to random drug testin then 2 weeks later koncz said that hey didn't they still wanted a cutoff date.if your such a big manny fan you should know that the person he seems to side with the most is arum so if there is anyone to believe when it comes to manny it's bob arum

Boxing is about business. A lot of people don't understand the business aspect of it. Many boxers look for their comfortable weight division where they fight best. Once found, then his marketability comes into play. If you are on top of the game, people below you will have to meet your demands. If you are not on the top, well you have to give in to the fighter who is on top if you want to fight him because he usually has choices. He is well in demand because to beat the one on top, the winner get to replace him. That is why everyone who are on or near his league would like to get a chance to be on the top. Arum understand this very well. He is indeed very good in this business.

So, for those dwelling on Manny's catch weight, past and future, performances, keep in mind, his opponents did not and do not have to agree to the catch weights. But because they want to fight Manny,......well you got my point? Manny during, those times was moving up in weight. So the catch weights were necessary as long as there are fighters willing to give in to his demands.

Face it, Manny is on top of the game. Everyone who qualifies to fight Manny at weight of his choosing will have to get in line. Everyone else will have to get out of the line and stop bickering. Let Arum do his job as far as the marketing ability goes.

It is business. If you want your boy to call the shots, let him beat the best first.

I hear you and definitely see also understand your point but realistically
Floyd opponents at WW were coming off of wins or legit title holders.
Floyd became the Lineal Champion in the course of three fights while
Pac has yet to do that after fighting more than Floyd. If Floyd would
have paid his sanctioning fee, then he would have had the WBA title
after dethrowning the #1 WW, Sugar Shane Mosley. Both opted to
fight big money fights but Floyd actually fought fighters that were
considered champions and fighters to beat, while Pac is just picking
guys to pound out at WW and JM at catchweights for titles? Don't
understand how Pac is considered higher than Floyd some places on
P4P lists. I can only guess it is because Manny stays active and fights
while Floyd stays out the ring.
