If anybody can say it it's JMM. Funny how keyboard warriors and people who have never stepped in the ring to fight(boxing journalists) say it and their word is taken like it's gold. But no get somebody who actually is legit and fights for a living to say something and here come the Pac huggers. I like Pac, he is a tremendous fighter but what JMM said was the truth. I would say he was wrong but Pac has recently fought the same kind of fighter and the selling point has been "Oh the guy is bigger", so what!? If the opponent lacks the technical skill to win who cares if he is bigger or not. I'm not hating on Pac, like I said the guy is a phenom, i've thought so since he whooped Ledwaba and took the title on 10 days notice, but i'm also not blind. Arum is good at fooling a lot of the boxing public, but the catchweight title fight crap is garbage, especially this last fight IMO.

Skillwise, does katsidis and diaz even compare to cotto and margarito?
If he tries to **** on somebody, he might as well look at his resume.

I'm not sure ... but can you name a fighter from 135-140 who can beat cotto and margarito?

margarito aint **** so i believe most top 140 fighters can beat him like amir alexander and bradley i also believe they can beat cotto and as far as 135 i do believe marquez can also beat margarito and even cotto.
skillwise katsidis and diaz are better thyan margarito almost everybody is better than margarito skillwise but those 2 fighters can't compare to cotto skillwise but cotto career is in limbo he's noot the same fighter he was before the margo fight and before the manny fight everyone was sayin he was damaged goods and that he was a shell of himself where as katsidis was the top fighter in his division outside of marquez and had the most buzz about him at the 135 division so cotto may be the better boxer but he is looked at as damaged goods where as katsidis if not for marquez is looked at as the man of the divison and has been lookin good in his recent fights where as miguel looked okay

So if its pac you don't care about the size ... but if its jmm, you want to downsize them for him so that he has a chance of winning?

W Casamayor - #1 Lightweight, never been stopped before getting stopped by Marquez.

W Diaz - Top 3 Lightweight, never been stopped before getting stopped by Marquez. Had just beaten Katsidis in a war.

L Mayweather - Undefeated in 39 fights going in, fighting at 147, was the bigger man and had a difficult style which Arum has been ducking.

W Katsidis - Top 3 Lightweight, just came off an impressive TKO win over Kevin Mitchell.

                  vs

W Margarito - Already had been stopped by Mosley. Not ranked in the top 10 at WW or JMW. TKO loss to Mosley and unimpressive win against a journeyman.

W Clottey - Never won a big fight outside of a TD against Judah and a decision over a fat Corrales. Even managed to lose against the "bum" Baldomir.

W Cotto - Was stopped already by Margarito. Unimpressive win against Clottey, looked vulnerable.

W Hatton - Stopped by Mayweather 2 years prior.
