I'm a big fan of both guys and I can honestly say that Marquez would destroy Juanma right now. He's too big and way too skilled for Juanma. I think it would have exciting moments, but Juanma would end up getting stopped.

Lopez has shown some major flaws in his D and Marquez is probably the most technically gifted offensive fighter of the last decade. Marquez is not without his faults though, which is why I think it will have exciting moments, but he's way too much for the smaller and lesser skilled Juanma.

jml's slick and wouldn't be hit half as much as katsidis was, c'mon, also jmm's still kinda prime so now is the time, not 2 years.

win or lose, a fight is what should happen while its still competitive. why fight jmm when he's 40?
I see what you are saying but I just dont think that he is ready or good enough to fight Marquez now,Marquez is one of the best counter punchers in the sport and with Juanmas lack of defense the only chance that juanma has is to land a huge power punch

There's no question Marquez would completely dismantle Lopez. If Rafa could stun Lopez, JMM might knock him out cold.

Don't confuse things Juanma fans, not only is JMM better than his brother in every way, he is bigger and stronger.

This f ucker never stops to amaze me, JMM that is. I was honestly rooting for my boy Kats although I'm a huge JMM fan but man... he gets pwned with a nice left hook, f ucker gets up and lands almost every power shot he threw after the KD. JuanMa vs JuanMa its an interesting fight, make this s hit at 135 lbs, I think JuanMa will have his moments but eventually JMM knocks him out, he's too cagey, too experienced, and somehow this old f ucker is still on his prime.

Because thats when the fight will be competitive. Right now and JML may never reach his potential.

I don't think JMM is prime, his style has permitted him to outlast others in the game. He has tremendous heart, perseverance, skill, and tenacity. This is the reason Pac ran away from the lower weights.
