when JMM and Pac fight, both guys still come under 147 lbs. Pac would 144 lbs at the most. JMM would probably be 142 lbs.

Regardless, Marquez was still out of shape. At 135lbs he's much, much sharper and his power is almost insignificant at 147lbs. So against Mayweather Marquez had basically every key physical attribute stripped from him.

But beating JMM at 147 was nothing to shout home about, and history will view it accordingly.
Pacquiao started in a lighter division than Marquez and he (pac) has fought as high as 150. So why can't Marquez fight at 147?

That match was a ppv sparring match at best.
Sure the weight was the ONLY reason Marquez lost.

            LOL!

How do you know his power is insignificant at 147?

Because he couldn't KO Mayweather his power is insignificant? LOL! You people man...

He didn't have to. He already forced Marquez to bloat up two weight classes, and not satisfied, HE CHEATED AT THE AGREED WEIGHT.

It's not the only reason but the fact remains that Marquez didn't get a fair shake. Whatever shot he did have at winning was severely impeded by him having to put on more weight than he can comfortably carry and Mayweather being the much bigger, stronger man.

Power in boxing is relative to size, and Marquez was two weight divisions out of his depth.

Marquez might have had a little extra weight but c'mon...

If that win ment nothing then so has Pacs last 5 opponents who were either coming off a loss, weight drained, had no chin resistance ect...
