Comments Thread For: Marquez Shreds Pacquiao's Record, It's Getting Personal

WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez is making it very personal with Manny Pacquiao. The Mexican warrior is using every trick in the book to land a third fight with Pacquiao. At Saturday's post-fight press conference in Las Vegas, Marquez wore a t-shirt with the message "Marquez Beat Pacquiao Twice" on the front. Marquez is telling everyone who will listen that Pacquiao is running from a trilogy battle.

Marquez is using some troll ***** theories

He does know that he is on Pacs record, right?

Also he just got dominated by Floyd 2 fights ago, so according to him, he is no worthy either

Marquez is doing his job correctly by saying things like this, he's looking to make noise with statements like that and it's working, if he keeps up a media blaze he will build anticipation amongst the media and that is always nice. keep up the good work Juan Manuel

If it was so easy why didn't Marquez beat all those fighters too?

This is what makes fights big. I don't know if it will work, but Marquez is doing a good first efforts in making this fight a reality. However, if he wants the fight badly, he needs to give up the 50/50 split in the purse. That's an instant deal breaker.

He was too busy getting outboxed by chris John and humiliated by Floyd infront of a million ppv buyers.

Look at all these people cursing Marquez for calling out one of their "top fighters"! How can anyone be negative towards ANY fighter for wanting to fight the elite when they have earned a shot?

Pac fans are doing everything they can to discount and minimize Marquez plea to have a trilogy with the fighter that most people feel lost (Pac).

Welcome to Pacmania, where the king stays king by fighting the least versatile, spent opponents and have to push for weight stipulations (in attempts to make his already spent opponents drained or THAT much more at a disadvantage) just to ensure a cheap, tainted and tacky victory! Who says Pac wants a fair fight?????
