How long have you been watching boxing?

If the ref doesn't deduct any points, then you're not doing anything illegal.

You do everything you can to win.

This may be true but you should have worded it a little nicer.

More like an athletic Hatton that backs up and leads with his elbow

Why do I call him a fraud?
He promotes himself as a real athlete, determined, hardworking and sportsmanlike....

but leading with the elbow every time after the jab? leading with the head? leading WITH THE ELBOW?! What about that punch CLEARLY after the break...

I used to like Ward but enough its enough...if that's what he had to do against a 35 year old Sakio Bika, I wonder what'll happen when he fights OUTSIDE OF OAKLAND FOR ONCE. Will he fight Carl Froch outside of Oakland?
Much criticism for Ward, yet no criticism for Bika? Your hate clouds your judgment. With that said, Ward fought like an idiot. He kept trying to fight on the inside and clinched far too often when he did get on the inside. When he started to relax and fought on the outside, he looked effective. He just didn't have that usual composure he normally does. However, it's one fight and we can't write his whole career off of this one performance. He's looked versatile and amazing in his last bouts; let's not forget that.

That's the way he always fights! Again, this is nothing new for Andre Ward...he did the same to Kessler, and even Allan Green.

Ha! Good question. I think Ward is more athletic than Bhop though...it's just not fair for guys like Ward and Holyfield to run in with their heads an elbows

Don't give me that answer. There are things that Ward has done in the past that are testaments to his boxing IQ and athleticism. Those are the things that have made me a fan and ONCE MADE YOU A FAN. Going by this statement alone, it's clear that you're just playing a reactionary role to the Bika bout. As I've stated, the Bika bout was a horrible outing by Ward. But let's not hold one performance against him. He's fighting Abraham next, so let's hold our criticism until after that fight.
