  • Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr. vs Wolak Still Moving Forward, at 165-Pounds

BoxingScene.com has been advised by sources within Top Rank, that as of the moment Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Pawel Wolak is still moving forward on November 27 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Multiple sources have advised BoxingScene that Chavez Jr. is legitimately battling flu-like symptoms. From what I was told, by more than one source, the agreed-upon catch-weight will be raised from 157 to 165-pounds. The new weight is likely a reaction to Chavez missing several days of training due to illness.

Mmmmmhmmm, struggling to lose weight due to the flu, right, bed riddled and unable to eat anything with your body wasting away. Sure fire way to gain 8 pounds.

You can't be serious... an 8 lb flu, huh?

Can we stop with this kid's bull**** career already, how long can he live off of his father's name and accomplishments?

The day he gets in there with real competition is the day his gravy train ends with a brutal beating and possible 'career'-ending KO. But he's 'not ready' for the Cottos and Martinezes despite having 40+ professional fights and a WBO Silver Championship.

                    Shameful
