Word is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will not fight on December 4 due a severe flu-like illness that has stopped him from training. Chavez Jr., the WBC middleweight Silver champion, decided that since he wasn’t feeling feeling well physically it would be better not to fight and risk a possible shot at a world title. Chavez Jr. was scheduled to face Pawel Wolak at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Wolak himself was a late replacement for Alfonso Gomez.
