Am i the only one who would prefer Mosley at 147 over JMM at 147???

Seems kind of silly for Juan to fight Manny at 147. I think JMM will be effective at 140. So that fight should be a 140 pound fight. Manny can still make that.....but at 147.....meh.......i'd rather see SSM and Manny get it on.

Shane still has concussive power. Even at this late stage if he "shows up" he is a big threat. Forget the Mora fight....Shane is ineffective at 154. Always has been. Also he likes fighters who come to him and trade. Manny will do this at some stage. Manny can't fight backing up. It's a good fight.

I agree. My preference is to see the trilogy with Marquez at 140lbs, but a fight with Mosley at 147lbs is a legitimate alternative.

Berto really is the only real no draw from the top welter weights. Too bad because he is solid, but he needs to make a name for himself. Missing out on the Mosley fight in January has really set him back.

Well, with how Pac and Floyd are holding up negotiations, their fight is pretty much a fantasy fight as well. I just believe that Sergio is the most credible opponent for Pac, or Floyd for that matter, to fight next. I'm sick of the "he's too big argument" when Pac is a JMW champ. Margarito was just the right size and Sergio isn't? Doesn't make much sense.

Lol, didn't Margarito have that much of an advantage against Manny the night of the fight according to reports? If Top Rank and Team Pac feel that their fighter can't compete at these weight classes, why poke their noses in the JMW division? Last time, I checked Manny was the WBC JMW champ. He's only a weight class below Sergio. Sergio just fought at 154 in 2009. Why not make the fight for Pac's title at JMW?

Especially since that vacant title Pac won is Martinez's title.
All Top Rank wanted was to pad Pac's legacy with another
title to make his career look so great. Honestly, I think that
since Manny is such a huge icon and influence in the Philipeans
that his handlers want him to continue to win to keep hope
alive in the country. Funny how Roach said Pac would Margarito
Mosley but Arum still wants Pac to fight him? Team Pacquiao
has a thing for exposed opponents ESPECIALLY by Floyd. Pac
is only as good as the people he fights and in the past 4/5 fights
he hasn't fought a threat. JMM was his last tough fight and debatable
win and Pac still don't want to avenge that at this point. Pac
supporters keep saying that Manny would kill JMM but it doesn't
look that way because if that was the case, Top Rank would have
lined the fight up. Mosley gave us a clue as to why Pac is not fighting
Golden Boy fighters. Mosley had to leave Golden Boy to get a fight
with Top Rank. Arum is an old cranky, b!tch @$$.

I feel bad for Manny's fans. It's obvious Bob Arum is a joke. Freddie Roach is a joke. Manny Pacquiao is a fraud. This guy used to be the "People's champion" back in the early 00s. Now he's nothing but a fraud. Kellerman asks him if he wants a fight with Floyd, "TALK TO MY PROMOTER" Marquez calls him out several times and people are wanting this fight, yet Pacquiao says it's a fight no one wants to see. Just becuz mosley is known does not make him a credible oppenent for pacman! mosleys clearly on the down side! The only way we the boxing fan can put a end to these mismatches is to not order the fights! arum ducked mosley till he saw mosley no longer was the fighter he used to be. Arum is trash!
