I don't see how, accomplishments, and resume wise Pac beats both of them...
I mean I wouldn't put neither greater than Morales or Barrera either. And, Morales and Barrera are top 75-100..
If you look in any respectable list there are not on there. And, if they are is like very very low, like barely making it.
However, JMM still active he so who knows what else he accomplishes... I would rank JMM over Oscar... JMM is a borderline ATG, while Oscar is just a HOF'er.Comment

Man I hate threads like these. Because nobody seems to be a true boxing fan around here, they are either die hard fan of a certain fighter or they are a die hard hater of a certain fighter.
I saw the first two fights many many times, and I had Pacquiao winning the first fight. And I had Marquez winning the second fight. Both razor thin close though. Do I want to see a third fight? Not really. I think Pacquiao would win easily but not because he is more skilled. He's just younger, faster, stronger, bigger than JMM. However, I do like this fight compared to the bull crap that they want to sell us (Mosley vs. Pac).
Looks like Floyd vs. Pac aint happening, and theres no way Pac will fight Martinez. A fight with JMM is the third best fight that could be made, but by default its the best fight that can be made (sadly).Comment

I just so happen to agree with De La Hoya's assertions. He is so spot on. It's not like a potential proposed Pacquiao/Marquez III bout would break box office records like a Mayweather, Jr/Pacquiao bout would. So what better way than to get this fight done by GBP giving Top Rank its full backing by ceding all promotional rights of this potential fight?Comment

yea arum is the boss.
I just can't agree with paccy running his mouth shortly after mayweather signed the fight with mosley..he was all over the media calling out mayweather now he's quiet again lol
when he signs the fight with whoever next he's gonna call out mayweather again but for now he's quiet lol
the good old ; I'll leave it up to my promoter bob arum is a classic lolComment

As a Pacfan, I agree with all that De la Hoya has said but for the scared part. Pac is game to fight and is proven that he will fight anyone.
Pacman needs to take this fight at 142, to make it more even for Marquez.
Marquez showed us the warrior that he is and deserves this last fight for GLORY !!!
People will WATCH this fight !!
The great Martinez with his victory has diminished the intrigue of Mayweather Jr.
As far as I am concerned, he made his choice,,all these fighters make their choice, No one makes you a drunkard but YOU, or a druggie but the druggie or a woman beater but the BEATER. You make the choice, no one makes you do it. Take responsibility, we do.
Forget Mayweather vs Pac, its PAC VS MARQUEZ
Mayweathers antics caught up with him :
1. Retired in his prime so he wouldn't have to face PRIME WW fighters such as , Margo and Cotto , Mosley who was sliding badly.
2. Realized he got into to far over his head with Pac man due to the fact that Pac began to take on larger opponents than PBF anticipated and Pac was winning. Hatton was bigger than Pac but the devastation caused a firestorm in the Mayweather camp.
3. He felt due to not having the deep game heart he needed to get out of the fight with Pac, but cursing him , making racist diatribes, accusing him indirectly of using drugs and when all that failed he went on vacation or a better word is HIDING !!!!!!!!!
4. Instead of facing Pac , he takes his fears and frustrations out on beating Women, threatening his children, picking on non ring warriors like people in cars, and not answering his phone.
5. PBF missed his opportunity for GLORY,,, missed opportunity's are hard to recover.
I say forget Mayweather , and let him crawl back to the table,,,,,,MAKE THE FIGHT IN MAY with :
The GREAT PACMAN vs The GREAT MARQUEZ
TWO GREAT WARRIORS, no need for trash talk.
If you don't agree, thats ok , be wrong !!!!!!!!!
This is for *****'s,,,,,,,,,,,Comment
