Manny is more skilled than him as well as better technically. He has surpassed JMM in those categories as well. Even Manny's timing is better now.

Thats what I was telling everyone, the difference in weight is 4lbs not that significant. They can come in the weight they are comfortable with and fight, nobody will blown up to 165+.

I thought it was a break from JMM having it at 147, because at 140 Pac will be that much faster and you need that leverage against a counter puncher

The only reason Margarito was able to hold up for 12 rounds was due to the fact he was 165 on fight night. I mean look at those combos and do you honestly think a 145lb version of Marquez, who's chin and skin is nowhere near as good as Margarito....is able to sustain those lethal combos from Manny.

Marquez will stay in the pocket and while he is a good counter puncher....he is there to be hit all night. Manny fvkks this kid up bad...which is why I don't get peoples desire to see this.

I kinda don't get this because even if it's at LW....Marquez will be 145 fight night and Manny will be 147-148....the same size he has been coming in for the past 3 years or so.

Yea but at 135 it would give Pac another lineal title. That would be 5 in 5 weight-class.

And, it would be 3 in the original 8 weight-classes. And, he will be the only one along with Bob Fitzsimmons and Henry Armstrong to ever accomplish such thing.

Honestly Jack....JMM gets outworked by Paulie at 140. I mean Diaz and Katsidis are tailor made for Marquez. Two guys who lean forward into his hooks and come in reckless allowing JMM to counter and outthink them all night.

Not only that but Marquez is there to be hit all night. I was just watching the combos that ripped up Margarito and Cotto....and no way in hell does Marquez survive those.
