Why should he had fought Juan instead?

10 years ago he was turning pro... Not really prime or slick.

Fact is he was never slick but in his prime he was a good fighter who fought to the level of his opposition.

Juan at the time would have been considered the stronger challenge at lw. Im not sure do you know if the David Diaz fight was signed before or after Juan Diaz took his loss against Nate?

It was signed after, because it was signed after Pac fought JMM. And, Pac-JMM II was after the Diaz-Campbell fight.

And, Juan was coming off a pretty bad lost, the interest was gone for the Pac-Juan fight. I could see people saying Campbell or Casamayor but Juan? Nah........ If Juan would of beat Campbell than yea for sure. But, Pac didn't sidestepped him at all.

People just like to throw names without looking at the time line of the fight.

Yeah i wasnt sure of the time line but i remember all the other lw title holders being more repectable opponents then D. Diaz was at the time Pac took him on. I could understand Roach and team Pac wanting a softer touch being Pacs first fight at lw but it is what it is.

he fights david diaz cause he's a slow and a wide puncher.he avoided Juan Diaz because of his fast ,volume punching style.at the time Juan was at the top of his game even after the loss to Campbell.you wanna talk about a time line that don't mean shit.Daivd Diaz had lost to Morales in my opinion.

I was probably the biggest Nate fan on this board. I was convinced he was going to beat Bradley's ass. This is just sad. Retire immediately.

Nate tore some sort of nerve while training for the Ortiz fight. It really messed up his point of balance i think?

His team were talking about getting him in rehab and seeing how he does. It looks like he has not recovered.
