So i noticed last night during Marquez-Katsidis

that kats throws his right hand in a weird way, like his elbow is always up after he throws a punch, it seemed weird to me just wondering if thats how he always throws the right?

Hes probably spending too much time sparring with Muay Thai fighters in Thailand.

I noticed that too, I thought at first that he was throwing an elbow, but no. Regardless I thought Katsadis fought a great fight with a lot of heart, and at least IMHO Marquez deserves a rematch with Pacquiao at 140.

I thought he was hitting Marquez with his elbow at first.

it's called turning over your punches, but katsidis's is exaggerated.

Sergio throws his left in a similar way, especially when he gets in close to his opponents. Watch the first round of the Williams rematch when he gets Williams against the ropes and unloads on him. I guess turning your whole arm over brings the shoulders into play more and allows for greater power at close range, but it does look very awkward and tiring.

Katsides was throwing perfectly normal looking right hands on the outside, so it's not a technical flaw.
