Dispelling the hype about this version of JMM

After cleaning out a very weak lightweight division JMM is now seen as some kinda of destroyer Pacquiao is avoiding for dear life. JMM has been hand fed these come forward types not known for their defensive skills. Now the same criticism could be said for Margs but at least Margs was much bigger and stronger and posed a legit punchers chance. Katsidis was exposed by old Casamayor a few years ago as a punching bag. All JMM proved was in this lightweight division a very good, borderline great fighter like himself can dominate. If he wants Manny he WILL move up to 147 and we saw what he can do at weights beyond 135 lbs. JMM is looking for one big paycheck and I really hope Manny gives it to him. JMM has earned one last payday even though I truly believe at 147lbs he will be very slow and be nothing more than a more skilled Clottey type guy against this bigger version of Pacquiao. It's a good fight for everyone involved because Manny will end any question of JMM being better by beating the bloated slower version up and JMM will get one last huge fight before he retires.

I think wherever in your post have "Marquez" you should inserts "Manny." Behind Floyd i would say Marquez is next skill technician. How can u dare compare a technician like Marquez to Margarito? The only thing that carried Pac in the two fights with Marquez was his power. Thats the reason they want to get Marquez up in weight because its accepted that Pac brings his power up, not Marquex due to his frame. Power is generated from the leg and Pac has always have the calves of a heavy weight, so he's able to carry his power to the heavier weight.

His performance was good but the competition was weak. If he had fought Soto instead of a journeyman-like opposition it would have been a different story.

Joel Casamayor, Juan Diaz, and Michael Katsidis are all 1,000,000 times better than David Diaz.

If Margarito deserves a fight against Pacquiao. Marquez deserves a fight against Pacquiao.

I like the fight at 140 but I agree with Roach about staying in 147, he needs to get use to the 147 weight if the floyd fights every happen.

I dont like the idea of jumping different weight division it will have a toll on the player.
