Comments Thread For: David Haye: Froch is The Best at 168 Since Joe Calzaghe

Nottingham's Carl Froch and the Germany-based, Armenian-born Arthur Abraham brought some fistic fire to the cold country of Finland on Saturday night, as they fought for the WBC super-middleweight title vacated by Denmark's Mikkel Kessler. Froch lost his '0', and the WBC title, to the 'Great' Dane earlier this year; Abraham was also coming off his first career defeat after a controversial eleventh-round DQ reverse against Andre Dirrell back in March, Arthur clouted Dirrell with a right uppercut when the American was on his knees.

    I agree with Haye.

Bute is facing bums like Jesse Brinkley and Abrahams leftovers

Andre Ward is a cheater who brings his own personal ref to every event.

Froch is the only guy fighting legit against legit opponents.... He now has Calzaghe's old crown.

Fully agree with you. It hurts to say this as I'm a big Calzaghe fan but if Froch keeps fighting the opponents he is then Froch's legacy will overtake Calzaghe's IMO.

Never expected to see that from Froch though, thought he was simply a one dimensional fighter but I was impressed with that.

          Ward >>>>>>Froch.
people are overrating his last performance against someone who just lost. People forget froch looked like **** against taylor until the 12th robbed dirrell of a win, and got handled by kessler who ward completely dominated. Its funny how people jump the bandwagon so quick lol

I like Froch but he isnt better than Dirrel and Ward.I'm sure a rematch with Dirrel if it ever happens would be different.Ward is a tough customer who can fight any style and I dont think FRoch will be able to pull that off.

You mean Dirrell won't run and dive on the floor for 10 rounds? I doubt it.

Ward is a headbutting cheat who needs to fight at home to get away with it.

Memo to Haye: Froch is now the #1 P4P in Britain. He doesn't hand-pick 40 year old bums past their best neither.
