    My take on Pacquiao's radar....

    • Mayweather (priority)

After that, there's a myriad of possibilities and thickening plots here. He has about 3 to 4 fights left. So ideally, I see these:

    • Mayweather (if Pacquiao wins, he retires instantly)
    • If the Mayweather fight doesn't happen then BERTO
    • Winner of Alexander/Bradley Fight
    • Marquez III
    • Martinez at 154 (then retire)

But most likely these would happen:

    • Mayweather (still the priority)
    • If not, then Mosely
    • Berto
    • Marquez III (then retires)

    What are your thoughts?

It won't be anyone remotely capable of beating him so Martinez is out of the question!!Floyd remains scared so probably not him!!Ahhhhh but Roach has seen Mosley's last 2 fights so there is a strong possibility for him to get his shot finally!!After all a couple years ago Roach said 142 was still too dangerous to take on Mosley!!Berto is also a possibility, the only young prime fighter that team Pacman knows that Pacman whoops rather easily!!Also Marquez at welterweight is completely ineffective so there won't be any worries about the upset!!

It's pretty obvious Pacquiao and his team aren't interested in Floyd, Martinez, or JMM so expect Top Rank to force feed us the horrid Mosley bout for some new vacant belt that appeared at 160 at a catchweight of 151.....it'll still do good numbers since Pacquiao is on fire with the media and Mosley is a recognizable name..

            Yes your right!

But, will he be open to random blood testing that Olympic athletes around the world have taken for years... who knows. That is the only way to fight Mayweather.

Sugar Shane is a name only, but it would generate money.

            Marquez should be next priority.

Then when Alexander and Bradly make more of a name for themselves and they can somehow hold solid PPV numbers then them.

But I think they are looking for another "heavy hitter" who has no accuracy.

Pac's inner circle doesn't feel they have to take risks, fight a competitive fight because the rewards for them not to are too great. They fight bums they make money. The general boxing fans who've been watching their favorite fighter only know If he keeps knocking people out who cares and do not consider knowledge of styles, weight classes, drug tests and ring generalship because they don't have a love for the sport.

            good post!

I didn't discuss about who's going to win or not but Martinez is still within the RADAR me thinks.

The topic is what's on the radar screen of Pacquiao (my humble opinion). I think he would for legacy's sakes.

I wish, when PAC fights either Floyd or Marquez, he will forget about being a good buy during the fight and Kill his opponent or at the very least send them to a 5 year comatose period.

Those fights will cement Pacs legacy. If he manage to win all those fights then Pac can surely advance to the top 10 ATG list or maybe be considered as the GOAT. But i dont think most of those match up will happen. Especially the Floyd one.
