I don't think it's possible to beat him, it's a matter of containing him as much as possible to go out in the least humiliating way but in the end the cobra always strikes and hits you with a venemous left jab that is p4p one of the quickest punches ever seen in boxing.

In conclusion, no one can beat this phenomenon fair and square, that's the only answer to your question.

As good a victory as Glen's last one was, and i was delighted for him, he was fighting Allan Green.

Just be a decent boxer. Froch couldn't hang with Taylor for the first 10 rounds. Taylor made Froch look amateur.

Then when Dirrell realised Froch wasn't hurting him Dirrell started bossing Froch all over and was schooling him from round 8.

Kessler just out hustled him and beat Froch at his own game using pure technical ability.

Froch for me should have 3 losses in a row on his record because he was second best in each of the Taylor/Dirrell/Kessler fights. Granted he TKO'd Taylor, but damn, that was down to Jermain's stamina, not Froch's pressure and power.

Speed, quick combos, in and out style beats Froch. Froch is immune to elbows aswell, too slick for them.

Dirrell was just too much of a pussy to execute the speed gameplan correctly, but having said that if he stood there too long he might've gotten KO'd.

If Ward doesn't get a ref to help him and co sign to his headbutting and clinching, Froch handles Ward.

the thing is froch has improved a lot since taylor and direll fights.

so anyone following an old game plan could come un stuck, plus froch has big hart, solid chin and knockout power.

direll lost the fight for me as he didnt even engage enough to win a title away from froch.

froch landed more harder cleaner shots on kessler, and the unbiased scoring from non uk people says it all in that fight!.and the home town judging for kessler was way wrong.Saureland struck again!.

after the abraham fight i think froch has shown he can stick to a gameplan and box,in pascal he showed how to war and beat a slick powful guy who is awkard, same with direll, and a fairly fast busy fighter in kessler even though froch wasnt at his best with fatigue and minor injury.

glen johnson will be a tough cookie to crack, but froch might pull it off.

also i think ward liking to fight on the inside wont do him well vs froch, and ward looks like he likes to brawl a bit too, could see froch stopping him if he boxes well enough and can land enough clean combination of jabs, body work and uppercuts.

                time will tell i guess.

Actually, JT with a little more endurance and a few less concussions through his life probably would have won that fight. Carl got a bit of luck with that knockout, but sometimes that's what you need. I think the blueprint to beating him might just be Glen Johnson's style. Take his length away and chop away at that lengthy body.

I just hope that Glen has enough in the tank to accomplish it, because I'm always pulling for the Road Warrior.
