Fights without commentary..

I'm watching JMM v Kats on youtube atm and the version I'm watching has no commentary, but has all the other sound effects (punches landing, crowd, ref, corner men etc).

In a slow tactical fight a bit of insight from a commentator can be good, but in an action packed fight commentators need to stfu instead of talking just for the sake of making noise.

ok, try watchin froch/abraham without commentary then..if froch's chic don't make u wanna throw your tv remote through the tv with all her screaming then you're definately onto something.. ;D

nah she annoyed the **** out of me, but for some dumb reason they gave her a mic, u could see it at the end when she stood up, if they can cut the commentary out they can cut her out too lol.

I watched both the Kats/Marquez fight and the Froch/Abraham fight without commentary and it was indeed awesome (though that bitch in the Froch fight ruined it for me). Reading some of the comments I was astounded to see that people thought Katsides Marquez was a close fight. Aside from the knockdown it was as one sided as could be, and it really made me question just to what extent commentary, especially commentary as biased as HBO's, can influence one's opinions of a fight.
