Gamboa like Caballero is overrated in his own right. A gritty fighter like Litzau would walk through Gamboa and put him on his ass. The only man that can beat Litzau in this division is Lopez because he brings power and speed. Gamboa is going to be beat by any of the top guys in this division not named Chris John.

I dunno I think your giving Litzau way too much credit. I think Gamboa could easily put Litzau on his. While I agree the jury is still out on Gamboa, I think Cabellero made Litzau look better than he is. Cabellero didnt even look like he was a professional fighter.
But I do think that Litzau deserves a shot for a big fight and payday at Lopez or Gamboa. I'd rather see him against Gamboa. Not saying he doesn't have a shot but I think Gamboa can knock him out cold.Comment

The fact that Litzau is a 130-135 fighter will keep him from fighting Gamboa or Jaunma.

I have major doubts in Gamboa. A lot of people see his speed and knock out ratio and go, "wow, this guy is a real killer" but I see a guy with so many flaws. I really have never considered Gamboa a powerful guy. Yes, he gets knock outs but he gets them due to his speed and undisciplined fighters not seeing the punches, not power. I also see a guy with sloppy footwork, a lot like Caballero last night. Lets not forget about Gamboas chin as well. I think Litzau could and would beat him. I still consider Lopez far and beyond the class of this division though.Comment
